More Than Just An Estate Planning Attorney
A Little Bit About Me
I live and work in Southwest Florida. My wife Cheryl and I reside in Estero, with our dog Maggie. For most of my career I lived and worked in Upstate New York. I graduated from Syracuse University College of Law in 1977 with honors. In 1978 I went on to earn a second law degree, from the University of Florida in taxation. I have been a member of the Florida Bar Association since 1978.
I focus my practice on helping individuals who are transitioning to retirement or who are already retired. I have found that most individuals who are in one of these phases of life share a common perspective – they cannot afford a significant financial loss. It follows then that such an individual is likely to find financial peace of mind by focusing on protecting his or her nest egg and other assets.
During my free time, I enjoy reading, especially books about economics and psychology. Some of my favorite authors are: Malcolm Gladwell (Blink, Outliers and Talking to Strangers); Leonard Mlodinow (The Drunkard’s Walk and Subliminal); Daniel Kahneman (Thinking Fast and Slow); Dan Gardner (Future Babble), and Michael Lewis (Moneyball and The Undoing Project).
